New Music Solidarity Fund raises over $130,000 in response to the COVID-19 Crisis

Conrad, and a collective of musicians in the new music community in partnership with New Music USA, has announced the creation of the New Music Solidarity Fund, which is designed to help new/creative/improvised music freelancers whose livelihood has been threatened as a result of performances which have been canceled during the COVID-19 crisis.

The collective has raised over $130,000 in one week, primarily from fellow musicians, composers, and music professionals. For the time being, at least two hundred and sixty $500 emergency assistance grants will be made available. For more information, visit the New Music USA website HERE.
